I've had vampires on my mind lately.
Technically Dhampirs, but they all get lumped into the same category really. After my rediscovery of Illinca's backstory in my last post, I've been recalling more about my time being a fan of the BloodRayne video games. One of the things that really stuck with me was The Carpathian Dragons.
Blood-fueled guns that could switch modes from single shot, to full auto, to a shotgun mode. It was pretty nuts. Naturally, I tried to make a version that would work in Pathfinder Second Edition.
The modular works as the mode switching, and the whole idea of it being ridiculously more capable in the hands of a Dhampir just seems to fit what they could do in the game. I did make this Carpathian Dragon only a single pistol, as it does feel like a one-of-a-kind sort of weapon.
