Filed under "To Be Refined Later...probably"
Back during the 2E Pathfinder Playtest I literally dreamed up this idea. I originally had it on a blog that has since vanished into the aether of the internet, but here's a reprint of sorts. Just updated a bit from that first draft some months ago. It still needs work, but here's version 2.0 for now.
Choking Winds [Spell 3]
[Illusion] [Mental]
Traditions: Occult, Primal
Cast: [2 Actions] Material, Somatic
Range: 30 feet
Target: One Living Creature
Saving Throw: Will
Duration: Concentration
You cause one creature to believe it is choking on thick clouds of dust.
Critical Success: The target is unaffected.
Success: The target is Slowed 1 for one round.
Failure: The target is Slowed 1 for the duration of the spell.
Critical Failure: The target is Slowed 2 for the duration of the spell.
Heightened (6th) The Slowed condition is increased by 1.
Similar to a rather obvious classic TTRPG spell I should have thought of immediately upon dreaming this up? Yeah, most likely. Still feels fun though.
